Settimo Vilardi

Settimo received his Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts from the University of Windsor and then his Masters
Degree in Architecture from the University of Toronto. Through this formal education Settimo has developed
a balanced approach to his design. Drawing from theoretical and practical foundations he produces creative
architectural solutions that are interesting, functional and thoughtful. Settimo's strong design skills are
complemented by his exemplary management abilities as his role with the firm is wide ranging, taking part in
all areas of the architectural process from project inception, execution to close-out. Settimo is a Leadership
in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional(LEED® AP) and oversees the implementation
of
sustainable design strategies
for all the firm's projects.
Robert Di Maio
B.Arch, OAA, MAIBC
Robert is a founding member of Archon and received a Architectural Technology diploma at St Clair
College before earning a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Lawrence
Technological Institute. His particular expertise involves Project Management where
his leadership skills afford him the ability to manage projects from the Facility Program phase through to
Contract Administration. This skill also allows him to adapt and contribute to specific
clients needs, with his expertise in various Project Delivery models he has successfully completed high profile
projects on time and on budget.
Robert has also worked extensively as a member of the Ontario Association of Architects where he has served on
numerous committees. His work
at the OAA has proved to be
both challenging and rewarding
helping to change and
improve the practice
of Architecture.
Anthony Gyemi
B.E.S, B.Arch, OAA
Anthony is a founding member of Archon and received his Bachelor of Environmental Studies in
1983 and then his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1988 from the University of Waterloo. Although his
design and administration skills are wide ranging, he has developed a specialty in recreational design,
specifically with aquatic and park facilities. Anthony has over 20 years of experience as a Project Architect
with specific experience in administering many of Archon's largest and most challenging commissions.
His extensive knowledge of building science, technical detailing and the Building Code provide an excellent
resource for both Archon and our clients. Anthony's interests in recreation reside not only in his professional
life, but also
personally, where he is
involved as a coach,
enthusiast and athlete in
the local
sports
community.
